Welcome to the 20th 168 Film Festival

For 20 years, 168 Film has taught filmmakers to develop their craft based on God’s Word. We have seen over 1,300 films made by roughly 25,000 on cast and crew. We affect many more in our 168 worldwide audience. Jesus taught in parables, and so do we!

This is our second year in the Atlanta, Georgia area. We continue to build our base here as the seeds for our vision have found very fertile soil!

In 2023, we collaborated with Angel Studios, who brought you "Sound of Freedom" and the groundbreaking series "The Chosen." Angel’s top executives will review the best “168” films from this year for potential funding, development and distribution, so these artists may see their short film become a feature film or TV series.

Our filmmakers most assuredly have brought their A-game! They have made 2023 a year to remember, and a year where we have a real shot at making a big difference in this world, through the language of the culture, stories.

We are very proud of the 2023 group. They have given me the growing confidence to say that this is a MOVEMENT and that it will continue.

Focusing artists on the Word of God is the best way to fight the battle for the culture, the Atlanta area, Hollywood and the world. With so much darkness aimed at our society, 168 has never been more needed.

Our theme is Time and time is running out. People are weary and some are losing hope. And that is why 168 is so important. We give hope to probably the most influential group of people on the planet: the poets, the artists, the dreamers.

Time is always a theme, because we do everything in time. It’s all about how we spend our time. Use it wisely. Life is found in the Good Book and in the Relationship, not in religion. It’s a relationship with the author of life, Jesus. If you love your friends and family, you need to tell them before we’re all out of time.
