168 Film Festival - Grand Prize: A Trip To Cannes
The 16th annual 168 Film Festival is Aug. 25th at Regal Cinemas Premiere House at LA Live Downtown, where awards will be given, including best actress/actor, director and film. Tickets are available at https://168film.com/tickets
Top films will contend for awards on Regal’s 70-foot screen and the 168 Grand Jury Prize, a trip to the Cannes Film Festival in France. The prize includes hotel, airfare, spending cash, admission to the festival, a pass to the American Pavilion and paid entries to the Emerging Filmmaker Screening and Cannes Short Film Corner (up to a $4,000 value). Restrictions apply and finalists must have a valid passport.

Teams are from as far away as Canada, Egypt, Ethiopia and Italy. Domestically teams are predominantly from Los Angeles, California, but also from Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, North Carolina and Texas.
At the 168 Film Festival, 8168 Films, LLC is proud to present the extended preview for “Final Frequency,” starring Charles Shaughnessy (The Nanny), Richard Burgi (Desperate Housewives) and Lou Ferrigno Jr. (SWAT), Kirby Bliss Blanton (The Green Inferno), Luke Guldan (The Good Place), Nikki SooHoo (Stick It), Abhay Walia (Seven Rounds) and Kim Estes (Crossroad). The cast is expected on the red carpet and at the evening Awards Show.
“Final Frequency” represents the 2017 Grand Prize, directed by short film winner Tim Lowry of Conroe, Texas, with help from his 10-year-old daughter Rachel, a budding filmmaker. The film is currently in post production and is expected to be released in 2019.
