MEDIA FORUM:

Capitalizing on the ‘Year of the Christian Film’

September 13, 2014- 3:00pm-4:00pm

Aratani Japanese Theater 244 S. San Pedro Street, Los Angeles, CA

All are welcome to attend this dialogue regarding the state of faith-based media and opportunities afforded by this current climate.

Jesus' parables prove that story can change culture, and because of the volume of faith films, the press has declared that 2014 is “The Year of the Christian Film.”

“God’s Not Dead,” “Son of God” and “Heaven is For Real” have grossed record-breaking box office totals and there is new receptivity to faith-based film and TV.  In 2014, Russell Crowe portrayed Noah; and there are soon-to-be-released movies starring Christian Bale as Moses and Brad Pitt as Pontius Pilate.

In our media-dependent culture, we MUST encourage and pray for media creators to produce excellent, entertainment to affect kids and culture. Through the church’s participation, God’s Spirit can mentor artists, producing power in their stories.

Contributors: Sean McNamara (Producer: "Soul Surfer"), Mark Joseph, Producer of “Tolkien & Lewis” and “Reagan”, Local area Pastors and John David Ware (168 Founder).

To attend, purchase an “All Fest’” “VIP” or “Saturday” ticket which includes the Media Forum.
